PROJECT GRATITUDE

This is our family 365 Gratitude Project.

We are each contributing daily with photos, descriptions, and drawings of things that we are grateful for. Life is busy, so we are taking time to reflect and appreciate the little things in life in an attempt to enrich of life experience and find happiness in the overlooked. IN addition to our daily grateful posts, we will be documenting how this project effects each of us on our journey through life.

We encourage you and your family to create your own 365 Gratitude Project using your own talent

DAY TWO

Toilet Paper
by: Mommy

Today, I have wiped more snotty noses than I can count. Penelope has the nastiest cold with snot abounding, and I quickly realized how truly grateful I am for this household staple. I can't imagine how gross this would be without it. Ewww...

Donuts
by: Micah

This is Micah's drawing of yummy donut.

Today I am grateful for donuts because they are so delicious. I like the sweet tenderness of the donut.

Fast Food
by: Daddy

Alright, I know I know, it is very unhealthy but today I'm grateful for my wife thinking of me when she picked up breakfast at McDonalds...then, Arbys for lunch...then, Wendy's for dinner...Man, we need to go grocery shopping.

DAY ONE

Love Notes from Micah
by: Mommy

I get these pretty often now from Micah. I always leave him notes in his lunchbox, and midway through Kindergarten year, he started writing back unexpectedly. I found this one fallen on the steps today and it made me smile. Today, I am grateful for these sweet notes from my baby that remind me how lucky I am to be his mommy.

Nose Eating with Penny
by: Micah

Micah's Photo of Penny chewing on his nose...with a tree and flower.

I like when Penny chews on my nose. It does not feel good anymore because she has a tooth, and it hurts. I love her. It makes me feel good when she plays with me because I know she loves me. That is what I am grateful for today.

Coming Home to Dinner
by: Daddy

I love coming home to the smells of dinner cooking after a nice long day at work. The special thing about tonight was that dinner was cooked by the one and only, Micah! The food was Salisbury steak, green beans and corn. It was delicious. Micah, dude, you are DA MAN and 2-Dad is very thankful to have such a great little cook to help Mommy out.
